A easy pumpkin spice latte, made with contemporary milk and a pinch of pumpkin pie spice.
for two servings:
1 cup coffee
1 cup sizzling milk
1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
3 tsp sugar, or to style
2 tbsp pumpkin puree
for espresso machines, makes 8 ounces:
2 ounces espresso (a double shot)
6 ounces steamed milk
1/4 tsp pumpkin pie spice
1 1/2 tsp sugar
1 tbsp pumpkin puree
Make coffee/espresso and put aside. Heat the milk till steaming, then add 1 1/2 tsp sugar, 1/4 tsp pumpkin pie spice, 1 tbsp pumpkin puree and stir properly. Slowly add milk to your coffee whereas stirring. Garnish with whipped cream and a pinch of spice. Serve sizzling.
Note: this may be made dairy-free by substituting common milk with rice, soy or almond milk.
